'People's Court' Missing Mom Michelle Parker's Ex-fiance Reportedly Has Domestic Battery Conviction

Ex-Fiance Of 'People's Court' Missing Mom Reportedly Has Criminal Record

Orlando, Fla. police and volunteers continue their search for a mother of three missing for one week as new details emerged that her ex-fiance has a violent past and trouble with authority.

ABC News reports that Michelle Parker's former boyfriend Dale Smith was dishonorably discharged from the Marines where he was court-martialed and convicted of drug possession and domestic battery.

Parker, 33, and Smith have three-year-old twins and a stormy relationship, according to her family and police. Parker sought a restraining order against Smith in 2009, but a judge turned down the request, saying there wasn't enough evidence.

Still, cops ruled out Smith as a suspect in Parker's disappearance.

Instead, they're retracing her steps and looking for witnesses who saw her on Nov. 17 -- the day she went missing after dropping the twins off with Smith. (Parker has an older child from a previous relationship.)

Coincidentally on the same day "The People's Court" aired an episode in which the couple settled a fight over the engagement ring that Parker threw away.

On Wednesday, police revealed a new detail about Parker's appearance the day she vanished. They said she was wearing a large, silver cross necklace, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

Surveillance video captured Parker's Hummer arriving and departing from Smith's apartment last Thursday, TV station WTSP reports. The abandoned car was discovered the next day in a housing complex's parking lot, but a sticker advertising Parker's mobile tanning business Glow had been removed. Police asked people to look for that missing decal, WTSP says.

A dozen detectives and scores of volunteers have scoured the area where her truck was found, according to The Associated Press.
