Thanksgiving, despite being a conspicuous American tradition, is also, surprisingly, celebrated in a few other places around the world.

While most countries carry on with their usual business, see how the places below are celebrating!

Our northern neighbors celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October every year, but their traditions involve many of the same concepts as an American Thanksgiving celebration: family, turkey and eating too much.
