Daniel Radcliffe At Thanksgiving Day Parade: Actor Performs Song From 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying'

Posted: 11/25/11 04:23 PM ET

Daniel Radcliffe sang his heart out at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday, with a selection from his Broadway musical, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," in which he plays a window washer, J. Pierpont Finch, working his way up the corporate ladder. He performs "Brotherhood of Man" here, and dude's got the lungs and the moves to match them.

Radcliffe's run as J. Pierpont comes to a close at the end of December -- it was recently announced that Darren Criss will take over for Radcliffe in early January for a three-week engagement, after which Jonas Brother Nick will step in until July. Radcliffe, meanwhile, is back to finding himself in terrifying situations in the dark horror film "The Woman in Black," where he stars as a young lawyer trying to sell a spooked house.

Tune in around the 30 second mark for Radcliffe's spirited performance:

All of the performances (other than bands) are prerecorded beforehand specifically for the parade.
But Daniel is doing a fantastic job in the role. He's is one of the few movie people that come to Broadway and is actually an asset. Give the man some credit.

It's nice to see him segue' from Harry Potter to Broadway successfully. Who cares if he is lip-synching. I've seen the live performance, and it is fabulous.

They prerecord the soundtrack but do sing along live. I have been there and witnessed it.

He didn't sing his heart out. He lip-synched his heart out. Pathetic "performance" and reporting. If anyone really thinks he was singing, please tell me where the microphone is.
