British Fashion Awards 2011: Models, Celebs & Samantha Cameron! (PHOTOS)

Sarah Burton, Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Victoria Beckham, SamCam -- Paris may have couture and New York may have Marc, but it was the Brits who ruled fashion this year.

Tonight in London, those names and more gathered for the annual British Fashion Awards, presented by the British Fashion Council (the UK's CFDA equivalent). There were plenty of awards to go around, given the crazy amounts of success British designers and tastemakers have had in 2011.

Unsurprisingly, Sarah Burton took home the top honor as "Designer of the Year" for her work at Alexander McQueen... and, of course, on the Royal Wedding Dress.

Also to be expected: Victoria Beckham's win for "Designer Brand of the Year" recognizing her success with her ready-to-wear, handbang and accessories collections, presented to her by Marc Jacobs. (Which, by the way, explains why she and Harper were jetting out of Los Angeles this morning -- they were London bound!)

So who else won big? Accessory Designer of the Year went to Charlotte Dellal for Charlotte Olympia, a brand beloved by many celebs including Olivia Palermo. Incidentally, Palermo was on hand to present not to Dellal but rather to Mary Katrantzou, who won best Emerging Talent in the Womenswear category.

And our girl Stella Tennant, who got tongues wagging with an arresting Vogue Italia cover this fall, took home the Model of the Year title.

See a full list below... and check out a slideshow of what all the fashionable Brits wore! We'll give you a hint: black, black and more black.

Victoria Beckham's neck always seems to be stuck in one position. Someone must have told her years ago to pose that way.

Tastemakers? What a rather odd category since taste is truly subjective and varies from one person to the next. Maybe "Trendsetters" would be a more appropriate word to use rather than tastemakers.

I love the Brits, but I'm just not seeing any sense of fashion there. Except for Victoria Beckham. That b knows how it's done. I love her.

Kate Moss, non-stop partier is looking the worse for wear. Posh always looks fabulous, and happily married to DDG David too! Some people have it all.
