What goes into making each day's episode of "Morning Joe" work? If the show's latest commercial is to be believed, it's a combination of intense running, all-night partying and sleeping on the street.
The cast of the program seems to lead an awfully seedy life -- with the exception, of course, of Mika Brzezinski, who is a model of rectitude throughout. While she makes lunch for her children and goes on another one of her fierce runs (she loves those runs!) throughout New York, Willie Geist lounges with models (including "Morning Joe" resident hunk Louis Burgdorf) and Joe Scarborough has to have his heart restarted after some kind of drug or liquor-induced medical crisis. Oh, and Mike Barnicle sleeps on a bench covered in newspapers. Just like in real life.
