Rihanna Seeks Beyonce's Advice: May Take Year Off Following Loud Tour

If Beyonce had it her way, Rihanna would put down the mic for a year following her Loud tour. No, Beyonce isn't trying to ditch the competition, that was the mom-to-be's advice for a physically and mentally exhausted Rihanna who solicited queen B's words of wisdom.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, Rihanna had a near "meltdown" during the European leg of her 101-date tour and turned to Beyonce to help her stay strong and carry on. But Beyonce had some advice that Rihanna may not have wanted to hear. Beyonce told the 23-year-old singer that she should consider taking a year off of showbiz after the culmination of her massive tour to rest and rejuvenate.

But will Rihanna take Beyonce's sage advice. If Rihanna's weekend tweet is any indication, Beyonce may be right.

"I'm so light-headed! WTF!!!!!" Rihanna wrote on Twitter after a performance in Dublin -- a performance that, according to the UK's Sun, Rihanna had previously threatened to cancel due to her delicate and over-worked emotional state.

So could this be the last we see of RiRi before her tour ends? Although we can't imagine the provocative, camera-loving popstar going into hiding, if we know one thing it's the motto 'Beyonce is always right.'

Do half of you people even read the article before commenting. Since when giving Rihanna advice on taking a year off means Beyoncé is threatened by Rihanna. Y'all always jumping to conclusion. I see half of you people only read the title and not the article cause clearly it said Rihanna had a near meltdown and she tweeted on Twitter that she felt light headed! She turned to Beyoncé for advice. I swear y'all just love to make a situation worse by making up shit. And besides Rihanna is not a threat to Beyoncé since some of y'all are saying that. Rihanna cites Bey as one of her main influence and I'm pretty sure they are very close friends

WOW. Just Wow. Could Beyonce make it any more clear that she feels threatened by Rihanna and her quick rise to fame? Beyonce's been around much longer, yet Rihanna is gaining on her. She's clearly intimidated and jealous... I'm sure they're friends or whatever, but Beyonce used the opportunity to find a solution that would probably help Rihanna, but would also benefit herself. I'm not saying there was no truth to her advice, sure Rihanna could use a break, but it wasn't 100% genuine. Beyonce knows shes going to be taking time off to have her baby, and so now she feels especially threatened. Of course she'd like Rihanna to take a break, too. Hopefully Rihanna can see right through this.

Beyounce would have to be completely stupid to be threatened by Rihanna. Rihanna IS no threat! Ri would have to be as talented, as beautiful and have as good a marketing machine behind her. Ri is behind "B" in all three. No chance and I like Rihanna.

Lol, is this a joke? Beyonce was bigger than Rihanna for a long time, but as of now, it's RIHANNA that has had about 10 top singles on itunes for the past 3-4 years while in that same time period Beyonce had maybe 3-4. And, was it Beyonce who was named sexiest woman alive this year? ....No, no, that was Rihanna. Rihanna's also younger than Beyonce... when Beyonce had been around for the same amount of time as Rihanna has, she was not nearly as big as Rihanna is now. I'm not saying Rihanna is as big as Beyonce; I'm saying she's getting there and Beyonce has good reason to feel threatened. I believe that Rihanna has more talent, and I think she's the most gorgeous woman. She also has a sexy accent and an edge that Beyonce is currently lacking.

Not really a "bright" idea. Maybe less engagements. Celebrities always say they are going to take time off only to realize they have an insatiable appetite to be in the spotlight. Stroking the ego is more expensive than their lifestyles. If they really take time off they are forgotten or end up chasing the white horse.
