The November crop of food magazines brought us a lot of turkey and brussels sprouts, but December food magazines are festive for different reasons. 'Tis the season... of the roast! Warm up your ovens now; almost every magazine we combed through had several recipes for a big beef roast. No December food magazine is complete without some seriously good cookie recipes. Don't worry -- your New Year's resolution of losing weight hasn't kicked in yet.
