GOP candidate Herman Cain canceled a private dinner with media heavyweights that was scheduled for Saturday.
The guest list was reportedly filled with broadcasting's best, including Matt Lauer, Barbara Walters, Bill O'Reilly, Greta Van Susteren and more.
Local news station NY1 reported that Cain had reached out to New York Post's Cindy Adams to host a private dinner for him at her apartment with A-list members of the media.
On Tuesday, Adams reportedly received a call from Van Susteren's husband John Coale, an advisor to Cain, who asked her to cancel the dinner.
The cancelation came after an Atlanta businesswoman named Ginger White came forward on Monday, and alleged that Cain had an extramarital affair with her for 13 years. Cain announced on Tuesday that he was "reassessing" his candidacy.
