Penn State Scandal: 6 Alleged Victims Reportedly Set To Testify Against Jerry Sandusky

Victims In Penn State Scandal Ready To Testify

Former Penn State defensive coordinator and accused child rapist Jerry Sandusky likely agreed to a telephone interview with Bob Costas on NBC's "Rock Center" on Nov. 14 in order to publicly state his innocence. However, his interview with Costas -- who was joined in studio by Sandusky's lawyer, Joseph Amendola -- seems to have catalyzed those young people who will be called to testify to his guilt.

Following Sandusky's appearance on NBC, the mother of the boy identified in the 23-page grand jury report as "Victim 1" appeared on "Good Morning America" to discuss her son's reaction to the interview. Earlier this week, "Victim 1" hired a lawyer.

According to Fox News, six of the eight alleged victims referenced in the grand jury report are currently expected to testify against Sandusky in open court next month.

The other two victims have not been identified. During his in-person interview with Costas, Sandusky's lawyer claimed to have tracked down the alleged victim of the assault that Mike McQueary has testified to witnessing in 2002.
