If some team figure out a strategy that will require him to throw the ball instead of relying on amazing defense (oops, GOD, I meant GOD), he's outta luck.

You see this effect a lot with running QBs. His presence helps spread things out for the RBs because they also need to watch him. So, the team runs the ball more. This improves their time of possession, giving the other offense less time on the field to score. The problem is that this strategy tends not to last. First off, for a QB to stay healthy in today's NFL, they pretty much have to live in the pocket as much as possible and they need to throw quickly so they're not getting knocked down all the time. Second, after a season or less, defenses are going to start to know more about his running style and will have better D's against it. So, eventually, he's going to have to start throwing. He aired it out against OAK, but that was about it.

He's gotten a lot better (NFL-style) than I ever expected he would, having watched him play before, but he still needs a lot of time and work. He's done a great job readying himself for the NFL, since colleges no longer do that for QBs.

Tebow was an exceptional player in Florida. Now, he is in the NFL with veteran players. If your asking for the same performance from college to pro, you are for the most part going to very disappointed. Give him a few year, and keep him healthy, I'm sure he will do just fine.

"Tebow is a winner who is going to lose" Ooooo what a prediction. That has got to be the stupidest thing I have read all day.

Its funny how many people want this guy to fail. The only reason so many people want him to fail is because he has a deep faith in religion. If he wasnt a deeply religious person everyone would root for him because hes such an underdog and he keeps on winning.

He has "deep faith?" He certainly has showy religion.

I don't believe so. I used to be irritated with that myself then as more interviews came out I realized it's just who he is. There is an awkward sincerity in what he says.

I don't know what's funnier, Tebow playing QB or the fact that the premise of this story is predicated on the fact that Tebow is going to make the playoffs.

Considering that Denver has an easier schedule than both Cincinnati and Oakland, there is a good chance they will make the playoffs.

There they go again. Hating on the guy. If he's meant to fail, he'll fail. He doesn't need a lot of people eagerly awaiting his failure. However... a lot of people are having success because of the schedule and/or the lock out. Some teams (New Orleans, Patriots) are going to have a rude awaking come play off time. Sure they can score a lot of points, but they can't stop anyone. Wonder why that isn't news?

Come on guys, let the man play. He's brought happiness to Mile High Stadium again, even if John Elway does not like him at all.

why would he use Jesus as an excuse for failure and why would Jesus make him fail?

If Jesus makes him win, why can't Jesus be credited with making him fail?

He has to get his team to the playoffs to fail in January and he hasn't done that yet.
