Here's something you don't see everyday.
Recently retired NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal made an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" earlier this week to promote his new book Shaq: Uncut, and it only took a little more than five minutes for things to get a little bit strange.
Kimmel broached the topic of O'Neal's relationship with his girlfriend Nicole Alexander, better known as "Hoopz" from her run on the VH1 reality TV show "Flavor Of Love." Kimmel showed a picture of the two together and commented that the height discrepancy made it look like Shaq was "taking his daughter to Kindergarten," before asking "How does it work?"
"She's a fabulous lady and she's strong, and believe it or not, she can carry me on her back," Shaq said. "If you don't believe me, I'll bring her out here and make her do it."
Alexander stands only 5'2", leaving Kimmel, and likely most of the viewers, skeptical that she would be capable of lifting the gargantuan Shaq, who was listed at 7'2", 325 pound late in his career. O'Neal. But moments later, in a spectacle made for late night TV, Hoopz appeared from backstage and put all doubters to rest.
In a Magnús Ver Magnússon-like feat, Alexander not only lifted Shaq up, but she carried him several steps...in heels.
Who would have guessed Shaquille O'Neal would end up dating someone more athletic than him?
