Santa Monica, CA Patch:

Strong Santa Ana winds roared into the region Wednesday night and caused power outages from Santa Monica to Los Angeles International Airport, including parts of Venice, officials said.

The wind caused an outage at Receiving Station N near LAX about 7 p.m. and it caused a power blackout at the airport and in parts of Westchester, Playa del Rey, Del Rey, Venice and the Pacific Palisades, said Maychelle Yee, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Yup driving thru Silver Lake by the reservoir it's a mess, a tree blew down and broke the fence surrounding the reservoir on Silver Lake Bl. and the power seems to be out at Glendale & Fletcher.
