How are they going to translate the format to the big screen? Are they going to call the movie "2"?

I enjoyed the show until the latter seasons when it got all silly and they started torturing anyone and everyone. Don't think i'd like the movie if it's like that.

I love 24. But part of what I loved was the ticking clock. I'm pretty imaginative, but have yet to come up with how they could pull that off on the big screen. Still, I look forward to seeing my old pal Jack Bauer. Season 5 was my favorite. I adored President Logan and his First Lady, Martha. They were an absolute riot. I watched it again non-stop over a weekend last March and had a great time. It was just a super tv series.

Despite some of the weird plot lines, I liked "24" (except for the last season), but I also wonder about a movie--maybe it will be a series of 12 movies to keep the premise of real time going?? :)

And please bring back Carlos Bernard as Tony Almeida--yes, I know he was already resurrected once, so why not do it again?

We really enjoyed the escapism of 24, but doesn't a movie taint the very premise of the show?

I mean practically, it should be named 2 (at best), right?

I know what you mean. It's almost like they should make a series of one hour episodes and string them together over several months.

Bring back Sarah Clarke (Nina Meyers). Sure her character died but so did the Tony Almeda character. Her death was faked by someone higher up who gave Jack blanks because they knew he would kill her. Now there is some apocalyptic thing going on with Iran which forces the CIA to bring her in to work with them, but there is an informant or something who wants to talk to Jack so they have to bring him in as well. So they have to bury the hatchet and work together against the common enemy: Iran. Now, that would be cool.

Loved this show...and I cannot wait for the movie. I wonder though, will is still be based on one day...or be based over a longer period?

Didn't they exhaust every possible storyline with the television series?
It appears they are going to whip a long dead horse with a movie version. I will wait for it to come to DirectTv.
