Rockstars Revived By Reality TV

Although Lindsay Lohan recently posed nude for Playboy, in a bid many see to as an attempt to boost her career and boost her bank account, she still isn't planning on appearing on reality TV.

Lohan's rep says she has no plans to follow in Tara Reid's footsteps by joining the U.K reality show "Celebrity Big Brother."

Considering that joining the show did nothing for the careers of past contestants like Ried, Sisqo, Coolio or Stephen Baldwin, we didn't think Lohan would think twice about appearing on the 2012 edition.

With the exception of those who have appeared on "Dancing with the Stars," for most celebrities, reality shows are typically a career killer -- just look at anyone who has appeared of "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here," or "Famous Food."

Yet there are some exceptions to this trend -- faded or aging musicians seem to have found their careers revived with the reality genre.
