Remember Romney is a smart Harvard educated true Elite born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He left the state a mess, #47 in the country for state job growth and a political legacy of a barely thought out healthcare mandate for the next Govenor, Deval Patrick (D) to figure out. Seemingly mild manner "nice guys" with hidden agendas are the new covert politics.

Two weeks ago Romney admitted he intentionally purged his administration's official correspondence to hide potentially-embarrassing information from public scrutiny & “opposition research” teams. When the 6-figure bill came due, he was gone. Although Romney did not violate the law, his actions are indicative of misplaced priorities which might be overlooked, however, his other past indiscretions might not be so easily dismissed. But given the media 's disinterest in reporting Romney's finance committee co-chairman Alan Fabian, in 2007 was indicted for money laundering, mail fraud, perjury & obstruction of Justice & Romney's more recent involvement in the Stanford 2009 Ponzi scheme, the public is clueless.

Other background information also largely ignored, but the voters would be very much interested in knowing Romney supports the T-Party; his equity firm laid-off thousands of workers; believes that corporations are people; favours Wall Street; backs foreclosures; says Detroit automakers should have gone bankrupt; his abysmal jobs record in Massachusetts; promises to appoint far-right justices to SCOTUS, intends to privatize Social Security & voucherize Medicare and toes the GOP line on everything from Healthcare to Planned Parenthood, climate change to student aid, deregulation to tax reform, etc...

Unless Romney's ineptitude in choosing advisers, naked political calculations, misplaced priorities & far-right agenda are exposed, voters, none the wiser, might be inclined to god forbid elect Romney, a choice, undoubtedly, regrettable.

So he will go out of his way to destroy secret information and flip flops on the public information...sounds like real presidential material...NOT. Oh yeah, don't ask him questions about hot button current issues either...Mitt doesn't like that...

A non-story for me. heck they all do this, our current Transparent President even had his school records sealed. They hide everything they can.
03:01 PM on 12/06/2011
Exactly what do you expect to gleam from our President school records. If he was a poor student, it' irrelevant because he has become an accomplished man in his own right. School records do not make the measure of a man. Try taking your school record in and getting a job at an interview. It get's you in the door, but it does not get you the job.

Missing the point. When powerful people want to hide information, they can and do. Period. BUT, I disagree, since lots of people go around making all kinds of claims abt their educational experience etc, it should be something verified. A funny movie once had a line "Do you want to trust your life to the doctor that got a D in anatomy, or the guy with an A".

What do you mean by sealed?

They go to court and have all public records removed from public eyes. My marriage, your marriage etc are public record, same with your birth, death, divorce, homeownership, etc, all public record. Obama had many of his parents records sealed, simple as that as well as other records pertaining to himself.

It's not an unprecedented effort because Mike Huckabee did the same thing when he left the AR governorship. Equally outrageous, however.

Just found! Romney campaign strategy. Hide the facts, avoid the media, tell them stupid enough to listen what they want to hear, get elected sell off assets, (ala Bain Capital) retire twice as rich after looting what ever was left after Bush.
