Sky Metalwala's sister has been in foster care since her brother's disappearance on Nov. 6, but a national group has called for her return to their father, Solomon Metalwala. A court hearing on Monday will determine whether she stays in the state's care.

The state reports receiving "hundreds" of messages supporting the reunion of Sky Metalwala's sister, Maile, and their father, Solomon Metalwala, after a national parent's rights group started a national campaign.

Who in their right mind leaves a 2 year old alone in a car for hours?This so called mother is a discrase to motherhood. Hope Sky is okay! The dad should get his little girl back, and soon. Give the mother a lie detector test to find out what happened to him.Maybe the little girl knows something and is afraid to say because of threats.We should all say a prayer for Sky.

So even though Julia AND Solomon left Sky in the car at Target in 22F when he was just an infant, daddy is deemed fit to be a parent. Okie dokie. And, at nearly 5 years old, isn't the daughter able to tell police what she saw the night mommy dearest "ran out of gas"......?

That's exactly what I was thinking. And she's def at that age, when they see all and tell all....unless of course this sorry excuse for a mother told her not to say anything. It's all so very aggravating. X/

I am so glad to hear he is getting custody of his daughter. Let it teach that OCD mother a thing or two. I still believe she had something to do with Sky's disappearance.

He also left his son at 3 months in a freezing car for an hour while he shopped at Target. No father of the year sorry!

Van, I am aware that he and his wife together did that 2 yrs ago and yes, I realize it is inexcusable under any circumstance but I also believe the daughter is better off with her father rather than foster care.

That is one instance, parents do stupid things occasionally. I guarantee whatever the father has done is about 1/100 of the damage perpetrated by the mom in this case. He deserves another chance.

The father surely doesn't concoct a bogus story saying that the boy was kidnapped when all evidence points to the fact that she murdered the kid. christ almighty.

That's what I am saying. Sure the mother has issues but I believe he does too. The girl shouldn't live with either parent IMO.

Is there other family members to take her? If not she should be with the father.
