Carrie Underwood, Abigail Breslin Face Off In Tutus On The Red Carpet (PHOTOS, POLL)

It was a ballet battle on the red carpet last night as country singer Carrie Underwood and actress Abigail Breslin both dressed like dancers (or Carrie Bradshaw?) at different events last night.

Underwood went for simple chic at the American Country Awards in a Maria Lucia Hohan cream cocktail dress with ruffled skirt, adding purple sparkly stilettos by Ryan Haber.

Carrie, of course, is no stranger to the ruffly look: check out her black layered gown from the 2010 CMAs, and later, this outrageous tulle Georges Chakra dress.

Breslin strolled down the red carpet at the L.A. "New Year's Eve" premiere (along with practically every celeb in Hollywood) in a sleeveless gauzy dress paired with gold glittery heels.

Unfortunately, no one pirouetted for photographers.

I think Abigail's dress would be okay if the fabric in the skirt was fuller and she got rid of that hoop.

Normally, I can't imagine that I would choose Breslin over Underwood. But in this case, she does in fact look better.
