Florence Welch Covers Vogue UK January 2012 (PHOTOS)

Florence Welch was one of fashion's favorite gals in 2011, scoring a Vogue Nippon cover, a singing gig at the Chanel spring show and a partnership with Gucci (the source of her many gorgeous on-stage looks).

So to ring in the new year, it makes sense that the Florence & The Machine crooner bagged one of her biggest jobs yet: a Vogue UK cover.

The flame-haired songstress looks lovely, photographed by Mario Testino in an ethereal, hippie-chic shoot. Inside the mag she wears all sorts of floaty gowns and flower garland-type headbands.

She looks a bit more mainstream for the cover in a Chloe dress. We're especially loving the contrast between the light blue on the cover and Florence's vibrant hair.

With another major fashion accomplishment like this, will an American Vogue cover be next? Paging Anna Wintour...

I guess she falls into both categories.

Wow! When I saw that picture an s saw the namw welch, I have to admit, I wondered if she was related to Raquel! Theuy look a lot alike in that cover pic.
