AIDS Awareness Month: LifeStyles Condoms Offers Inside Look At Their Production Process (VIDEO)

Most retailers are busy catering to holiday shoppers, but one company has a much different aim this season, especially for those who want to heat things up under the mistletoe.

In honor of AIDS Awareness Month, LifeStyles is offering an insider's look at how their condoms are produced. In addition, the company is offering a special condom giveaway to promote safe sex during December.

"Much like cars are crash tested, condoms are taken through rigorous testing to ensure their dependability and safety including air inflation tests, water tests and electronic testing procedures that detect microscopic defects not visible to the human eye," the company says in a statement. "In fact, during the air inflation tests to gauge condom strength, condoms are inflated with air until they reach three feet high and one foot wide!"
