"This book is the perfect marriage of haute couture and photography," American artist Jeff Koons writes in his foreward to the forthcoming "DIor Couture" book. What else would you expect from a visual collaboration between fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier and Interview magazine editor Fabien Baron?

The visual dream team didn't stop with Demarchelier and Baron's collaboration, the two recruited contemporary top models such as Sasha Pivovarova, Karlie Kloss, Agyness Deyn, Gemma Ward, Daphne Groeneveld, Gisele Bündchen, Catherine McNeil, Arizona Muse, Candice Swanepoel, Natalia Vodianova and more to model over 100 pieces of Dior's finest haute couture. While the book starts with Dior's original designs from the 1940s, it additionally includes pieces from Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and even John Galliano's most recent contributions to the French fashion house.

Ingrid Sischy, who writes the book's introduction, describes watching Demarchelier shoot of the pieces, "I could tell he was having a ball." How could he not - Demarchelier explained, "When you photograph ugly clothes, you try to lose the clothes in the picture. With Dior Haute Couture, I don't want to hide the clothes. I want to show them."
