Obama To Host Hanukkah Reception

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama will meet with House Democratic leaders in the Oval Office on Thursday morning.

In the afternoon, Obama will be interviewed at the White House by TV stations from Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Memphis, Tenn., and Portland, Maine.

In the evening, the president will deliver remarks at the annual White House Hanukkah reception, which recognizes and celebrates the Jewish tradition also known as the Festival of Lights.

Obama will be joined in the Grand Foyer by first lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Biden's wife, Jill.
