Sarah Jessica Parker: Two Events, One Dress (PHOTOS)

Now we know how she does it, i.e., attend two red carpet events in the same night: wearing the same outfit.

But who can blame Sarah Jessica Parker, who toted along hubby Matthew Broderick to both the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum launch party and the New York premiere of "New Year's Eve" last night? We doubt we'd be the ones trying to pull off a quick costume change in our limo. Not that we have a limo.

Sarah Jessica looked lovely in her patterned dress, statement jewelry, loose wavy hair and gold pumps, posing with Valentino and Broderick and then later at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the premiere of her new movie.

We bet she couldn't wait to take those heels off!

SJP recently told Stella magazine that she's "a realist about what she looks like" -- we're glad she's down to earth about her wardrobe, too.

She has a great sense for fashion and is always tasteful. Beyond that, and more importantly, she projects what is important in life....her family.

I like the dress. The print may be a little busy, but its pretty and it looks comfortable. I'd probably be wearing it a lot more than once myself.

She's not the prettiest by all means but she is OK and more important decent, down to earth lady. Married, no bad habbits ( at least nobody knows). She'll beat Jolie any day who , while with Billy Bobbbb, out of limo on red carpet, stated that they just had sex on a back seat. Fabulous Marquise de Jolie

Gotta admit, though, Angelina has come a long way since the time with Billy....she has done much good....ditto Brad. Granted they have the money, but we all should do as much with what we have to offer.

A lot of commenters will come along just to restate their dislike for her appearance. I like her. I think she is classy and aging quite normally. And you can't knock the fact her and her husband have been together for years without so much as a hint of tabloid fodder coming from their home.

People who bother to comment just to be unkind sadden me.
Miss Parker is one who does not need to worry about weight or age or having a classic beauty. She has what some commenters here appear to lack, and that is a delightful charm that is timeless and captures the audience in any venue.
And bravo for her to finding a pretty dress and wearing it all evening and not worrying about being seen in it twice in one night.

SJP amazes me - the dress - great, and the fit - superb - but it's the body that makes it, not the looks - She is the only "star" out there that gets romance roles without looks. You have to hope she never looses her great body because she really has no looks to fall back on - hope she never gets chubby.
