Lamar Odom Traded To Dallas: Kardashian Series In Flux

Lamar Odom is leaving Los Angeles, after all. But instead of setting up a Mardi Gras, his travels will bring a new southern twang to the Kardashian series.

The longtime Lakers forward -- and husband of Khloe Kardashian -- is being traded to the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN, days after the trade that would have sent him to New Orleans fell through. Dallas, the defending NBA champions, will take on the star and his high salary in the wake of his clear displeasure with LA's aborted attempt to deal him for Chris Paul.

What this means for the Kardashian TV series remains to be seen, but it seems that Khloe will be following Odom to Dallas. When the trade on Thursday looked like it was still alive, Kardashian said she would follow Odom anywhere, and early Sunday, she tweeted, "I am sure I will love it but I am a tad thrown off."

Given that there is an entire spinoff called "Khloe and Lamar," it would figure that the happily married couple would have the E! network cameras following them to their new Texan home. It should be an interesting challenge; in this season of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," much of the friction between Kim and her now-estranged husband Kris Humphries has to do with his desire to live and practice in his home of Minnesota, while she lives in New York.

There is a HUGE difference in Kloe and Lamar and Kim and Kris. Kloe, while she ony knew her husband for a month before getting married, is fully dedicated to HIM and their marriage and it shows in every picture, every scene where she looks at him, and in everything she says. She puts him and their marriage first, before her own career, and she would never think twice about going with him to Dallas. Kim, however, never had that same dedication to Kris, it was clear from way before the wedding and then even worse after. She could easily keep her so-called career going from MN, but it would mean taking her husband and his career seriously which she never has. No, Humphries is a mediocre player at best, not the star Lamar is, but marriage is about two people loving one another and working together to make a life. Kim only wanted two things, proof that someone actually would marry her after Reggie Bush dumped her publicly, and someone to be 'Mr. Kim Kardashian' at all these nonsensical events she attends to keep her face in the public eye. Her wedding was a circus, her marriage a joke and her divorce a foregone conclusion.

Why are all you people so bitter? I believe that Lamar and Khloe are the real deal, and will have a long life together.. so what if they can capitalize off it too! Hurray for them... who wouldn't do what they do if given the incredible opportunity? I know.. you wouldn't .... LOL

Not buying into the hype doesn't make people bitter, it makes them smart. As long as the Kardashian's have a mindless following of fans, they'll still have plenty of checks to cash and will "capitalize" on other peoples ignorance.. As for this dream couple who you believe to be "the real deal", they'll have a successful marriage just like Kim & Kris's with just a little more longevity. Many celebrities have turned down offers for reality shows, cause in their line of work there are better opportunities to promote real talent.
