We're huge fans of the preppy-chic designs by J. Crew, and for their spring 2012 collection, they're sticking to what they do best: the high-low fashion look. This ensemble from J. Crew's spring 2012 line especially caught our eye for its contrast in patterns and bold colors. Needless to say, it got our minds thinking about how we can incorporate the vaguely nautical hues and the look into our own homes. If you're a fan of animal prints, try anchoring a seating area with a leopard or zebra rug for some textural contrast. Or if you're looking to do some paint updates, consider painting your wall in a similar off white and then finishing off with horizontal stripes in cherry red, denim blue or jet black. It''s sure to make any wall, or room, pop.

Find out where you can get these colors for your house below:
Cherry On Top, CI229, Valspar
Blue Nile, SW6776, Sherwin-Williams
Mayonnaise, 2152-70, Benjamin Moore
Enchanting, 560B-4, Behr
La Fonda Fireberry, 1010-1, Valspar
Pumpkin Pleasure, A22-6, Olympic Paints
Pitch Black, No. 256, Farrow & Ball
