Paint Colors Inspired By Fashion

Nothing beats pretty springtime pastels. Combine that with Ralph Lauren's signature all-American look and you have the designer's spring 2012 runway collection. We particularly love the gentle mix of baby blue and blush in this chic outfit, but we're actually inspired to perhaps incorporate the colors in this palette into one room this coming spring, from painting our walls to bringing in rugs, pillows and tabletop accessories. Walls painted in soft blue or pink make a perfect backdrop for sea-foam greens and other light pink hues, and it's an easy way to instantly create a relaxing atmosphere inside a room. If painting seems too drastic, try installing new curtains or fabrics that draw on the pastels from this color combination.
