Of all the places in America with 75,000 people or more, the most dangerous one is Flint, Michigan, according to the latest analysis from CQ Press.

The rankings are based on 2010 data from the FBI's Uniform Crime Report. CQ Press used data on the violent crimes of murder, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault as well as the property crimes of burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft and arson. The organization also ranked the safest places to live based on those same statistics.

In October, Forbes magazine looked at violent crime stats to determine its list of the most dangerous cities. Business Insider conducted a similar analysis in September.

Last year CNN Money ranked Fishers number eight on its top 100 places to live in America. CNN Money noted the city's low unemployment rate of just above 6 percent and cheap housing stock as reasons to make the move to Fishers. As CQ Press found, it also has a very low violent crime rate with no murders and just four aggravated assaults reported in 2010.
