Wall Street Journal:

By virtue of its size, business model and popularity, Facebook is the rare company that doesn't need Wall Street to go public. It should press home the advantage and blaze a trail for others to follow.

Seeing as he makes his fortune by selling the personal information of people who are stupid enough to put it up on the internet for all to see, I'd say he'd fight right in with his new friends.

If something like that were to happen, I would actually have respect of some kind for the man.

Face book, yawn what a snore in...with people telling you the very dribble of their day, if going to the store is the HIGHLIGHT or taking a shower is the hightlight...then you are a very pathtic little person and NEED To get out more..but I am not interested in Face book..or Zuckerberg or his IPO..and if people are stupid enough to invest in something that frankly makes nothing nor, contributes anything really meaningful to our society then I wish them luck..the guy growing veggies in his garden has a better and more fruitful life than many of these zombies that have to be connected at every moment..

I can sum up this journalist's whole article in one sentence" "Waah, I want in on this IPO but I don't have enough money in my E*Trade account to get preferred status and the ability to buy at the opening price, so Facebook should attempt to make LESS money by doing things unconventionally so that I can get a piece of it, Waaaah!"

Or powerful insiders should stop rigging the rules in their favor. Not likely to happen.
