'The Biggest Loser' Season 12 Finale: Who Won? (VIDEO)

Who Is The New 'Biggest Loser'?

"The Biggest Loser" Season 12 came to a conclusion last night with a nail-biting live weigh-in. Last week's grueling desert marathon whittled the contestants down to the final three: Ramon Medeiros, Antone Davis and John Rhode. Which one was got to take home the $250,000 grand prize and the title of 'The Biggest Loser?'

Before the big reveal, the other competitors took to the stage to show off their new looks and tell viewers how they have fared since leaving the ranch. The three who'd lost the most weight since being eliminated from the show -- Jennifer, Vinny and Patrick -- were up for the "at-home" prize of $100,000.

Although they'd all lost serious amounts of weight, it was a delighted Jennifer who claimed the prize. She's lost almost half her body weight -- 145 lbs. -- since embarking on her "Biggest Loser" journey.

Then the final three walked out onto the stage. First up was 27-year-old Ramon, whose transformation was just amazing. During the course of Season 12 he lost 43 percent of his body weight, going from 355 lbs. to 201 lbs. His life was also transformed in other ways: He helped his family members to lose weight and start exercising, and he found true love with fellow "Loser" Jessica.

Next was former NFL player Antone, who praised trainer Bob's punishing workout sessions and said he's now in good-enough shape to go back to playing pro football. The scales showed that he's dropped a whopping 202 lbs., or just over 45 percent of his body weight.

Special education teacher John was the last to be weighed. He started the season weighing 445 lbs. and finished it weighing 225 lbs. After losing an incredible 220 lbs., or 49 percent of his body weight, John was crowned the "Biggest Loser" Season 12 champ and took home the grand prize.

"The Biggest Loser" Season 13 premieres Tuesday, January 3, 8PM ET on NBC.
