'Absolutely Fabulous' 20th Anniversary Special Mocks The Kardashians (VIDEO)

"Absolutely Fabulous" is heading back to TV and nobody is safe from the merciless wit of Patsy and Edina ... not even the Kardashian family.

In this new clip from the return of "Ab Fab," Patsy and Edina struggle to understand the current tabloid darlings.

"Look there's a new disease called 'the Kardashians,' darling," Edina says, showing a magazine in Saffy's face.

"That looks like a boob; in fact, it's another Kardashian," Patsy says in disgust.

"Absolutely Fabulous" is heading back to the small screen to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Jennifer Saunders (Edina) and Joanna Lumley (Patsy) are reprising their classic roles from the early '90s sitcom. The new specials will air in the U.S. on Logo and BBC America starting Jan. 8 at 10 p.m. ET, according to TV Guide.

This is my all-time favorite series. I can still watch the original episodes over and over, while sipping some bubbly! French and Saunders are brilliant. Thank you Logo and BBC America.

I've been a fan of this show from the beginning, but I can't stand how they've treated Saffron over the years. In the fourth and fifth seasons, you could see her breaking down slowly, right up to the White Box episode when she seemed deflated. Saffron seemed to have run out of supporters; her father wasn't in her life as much, her husband turned out to be a polygamist, she had her best friend Sarah arrested for stalking Emma Bunton, and Gran pretty much dumped her by handing her a bill of goods for services rendered. I wouldn't have been surprised if she gave up her daughter to child services and killed herself. You know, she was pretty violent. She slapped Edina, Patsy, and Sarah. I wouldn't have been surprised if she had gone on a crime spree.

Also, since you liked the old French & Saunders, check out Let Them Eat Cake, from 1999. Jen plays a French aristocrat living in the Palace of Versailles in 1782. Dawn plays her ex-prostitute handmaid, and Adrian Scarborough is her manservant, Bouffant.

For all the many AbFab fans here, and for anyone who loves French & Saunders, here are some other shows that Jennifer and Dawn did:

Girls on Top (from the 80s), the Vicar of Dibley, Jam & Jerusalem, Let Them Eat Cake; Life & Times of Vivienne Vyle....

Most of which can be found on youtube (except Vicar of D).

If no one's seen "Let Them Eat Cake" it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen - certainly on par with AbFab. Unfortunately, there are only 6 epis, but it's still 3 hours of LOL, piss your pants kind of funny. Just search for it on youtube.
