Kobe Bryant Marriage Over: What Will Happen To The Kids?

Now that Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa has filed for divorce, what's going to happen to the couple's two daughters?

According to divorce docs obtained by TMZ, Vanessa is requesting joint custody of 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Gianna.

She also asks that the respondent -- in this case, Kobe -- be granted visitation rights, which may mean she wants the children in her care most of the time, according to TMZ.

"We ask that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season the public respect our privacy during this most difficult time," they said in the statement.

Vanessa is not known here in Orange County to be the nicest person, so no one is feeling too bad for her. But, she was smart enough to hang in there for 10 years so she can get her big pay day. One hopes she just takes the money and quietly goes off to raise her kids. Unfortunately, she'll probably make the reality show circuit soon. Just keep the kids out of the spotlight and let them live as normally as possible. Only time will tell.

Why is she unpopular in Orange County? Because of her poor dress sense? Who wears clothes like that, showing areolas? I have more problem with her dress sense than her divorce or putting up with cheating. The woman needs therapy to raise her self-esteem. He whole sense of self is derived from her famous husband, she married him after high school and never got a college degree or a job.

Um makes no sense, unless she likes to study and continue her education for pleasure
Im not going to college or going to ever work but I do like traveling the world and there is educational value in visiting other countries.

I've never seen her, but she was famously rude to the ladies working at Jimmy Choo in South Coast Plaza (apparently, they caught her attitude on store video). She had also been known to go around trying to use Kobe's credit cards, then getting angry when people wouldn't let her - saying the infamous "Don't you know who I am?!". My guess is, the only way she feels important in her sorry life is by abusing people in the shops she goes to to spend her husband's money.

Yes, lifetime alimony after 10 years. She would have got half his property anyway, because there was no prenup and CA is a community property state, but hanging on for 10 years guarantees lifetime alimony too. She won't have to work a day. But the woman needs to stop dressing so skankily. It is a combination of low self-esteem and not having class.

Well we knew this was going to happen! As for the kids i'm sad for them because it doesn't matter how much money they'll have. They will always feel the pain and loss of divorce. They will pay for their stupid parent's mistakes.Those of you that think money solves everything, you're wrong! Life is not about materialistic stuff and where money can get you. Typical story. Cute 17 year-old turns into a plump mother of 2 who can't handle the fact that her husband no longer worships the ground she walks on. The two just might need to have a meaningful conversation. Afterall, this is a guy who scored very high on SATs, lived abroad, speaks several languages and actually has a career. That's what happens when you identify yourself with your looks and bypass college, travel and self-enlightenment. Kobe, you should have stayed away from those dancers like Momma told you.
