Typical "women's fare," for the most part. MY sister likes a good suspense thriller, the kind that this site would probably recommend for a man. I like epic fantasy, mystery, science and history.

"Daddy why doesn't Santa use Elephants?" It's one of those rare finds in Life that tickles you in a way that makes you have to share it with others. You can view the first few pages at https://www.BRBpublishing.com & the rest of the book is better. Everyone age 2 to 99 seems to fall in Love with this book as the grin, laugh & can't put it down without going thru the whole book... & then have this need to share it with someone. YOU well also be helping create a rare success story that was born out of a career lose. A True American rebuilding of a family creating their own business to provide a new & needed career. It immediately made the best seller list at it's first Barnes & Noble last year & similar at other retailers in it's initial market. God Bless All of You this Season.

A see a bunch of conservative business as usual views of the world. Maybe your "sister" could expand her mind a bit and read some politics or feminism or something a bit controversial to get her thinking a bit. Lots of books by men but I pose this question...would your BROTHER be recommended one single book by a woman? And would he ever read it is he was? Why are women expected to value mens world view when you can be guaranteed that men will not value womens world view? Sounds unfair to me.

Good selection. ''Art of Instruction'' looks interesting. Catherine the Great was an amazing person: a shy German princess from a minor state becomes Empress of Russia.

Another great book to give as a gift is "Secret Regrets" by Kevin Hansen.
