Tom Hanks is known for his gripping HBO mini-series such as "Band of Brothers," "The Pacific" and "From The Earth To The Moon." But his latest project might be his most monumental yet.
Hanks appeared on "The Late Show" Thursday night and showed David Letterman a preview of the series, a new historical drama about one American who changed our daily lives forever: Bert Loomis.
What's that? You've never heard of Bert Loomis? Well, let's just say that when you're as famous as Hanks, you pretty much get to produce whatever you want. And, for some reason, the man who inspires Hanks the most is this guy who invented the Pop Tart.
