'The Dark Knight Rises' Trailer: New Batman Movie Features Bane, Catwoman (VIDEO)

'The Dark Knight Rises' New Trailer Revealed

The new "The Dark Knight Rises" trailer has arrived. And like Bane, it's massive and chaotic.

After sneak previews and a weekend of IMAX-only screenings of the first scene of the film, a preview of Christopher Nolan's third and final take on the caped crusader is ready for public consumption. First and foremost, we meet Bane, the Tom Hardy-portrayed monstrous madman who is out wreak havoc on Gotham. It's hard to understand a single word he says, but that only makes it scarier.

The tease has a lot of what we've seen from paparazzi photos and details given in interviews, but on a scale that blows any grainy photographs or videos to bits. The scenes shot at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh are featured, including shots of former Arkham inmates rushing the football field, and when combined with the booming score put together by Hans Zimmer, the result is epic, even if just for a few moments.

The film, which returns Christian Bale as Batman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, and adds Joseph Gordon-Levitt as police officer John Blake, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

For the political minded, listen to what Hathaway says to Bruce Wayne. While the film didn't shoot at Occupy Wall Street while it was filming in New York, it sounds like the movement's message made it into the plot.
