Charlie Sheen Spends Winter Holiday With Denise Richards, Kids

Leave it to Charlie to tweet all about it. Charlie Sheen is spending winter vacation with ex-wife Denise Richards and their two children, plus Denise's adopted daughter, in what appears to be tropical climates. Taking to his Twitter account, Sheen wrote of the rather unconventional get-together on Sunday, tweeting: "what's better than a modern family vacation!?! love spending winter break w/ @denise_richards & my kids!", then posted a picture of a family-style portrait.

On Monday, he followed up with a similarly swoony message: "...all in the family a Christmas.... to remember..! xo c" and another family group shot.

Sheen, 46, and Richards, 40, divorced in 2006; earlier this year, Richards published the book “The Real Girl Next Door,” in which she recounted her marriage with the unpredictable actor whose recent outbursts have landed him in rehab and kicked off the set of "Two and a Half Men."

Everyone on HuffPost HATES Charlie Sheen irrationally. Even when he's doing the right thing with his family, he gets picked on.

Denise is just trying to get along for the kids. I understand that and more power to them. Charlie will either grow up and wise up or he'll die. Hopefully, if he dies, he has all his affairs in order and i'm talking about a will.

Hope he stays sober for the kids and himself. Will never watch anything he in again because of his really bad behavour. He did it to himself to be booted from the show. Wish him the best buy have no respect for the man.

He has proven to be a jerk. I stand by what I said. Never will I watch ANYTHING he is in. He treated people terribly He is not sorry about it ether.And as far as calling me senior that does not show much respect on your part!!!!

I think Denise has taught Charlie a lot about love and family . He never learned it fromhis own parents. He learned his bad behavior from his Dad. They had a bitter divorce and now they have agood relationship and he spends time with his kids.No matter what Charlie does love his children and takes good care of them financially and also takes care of the ex wives financially. Too bad things went south with these 2 because Brooke is NOT a Denise and Charlie is going to wind up supporting those twins because Brooke is a junkie and a lifer..Denise was not raised with the kinds of money Brooke was and Brooke thinks everything should be handed to her. I hope Charlie stays sober and keeps his life on track so there are more happy Xmas pictures like this.

He did go through his own issues with drugs, and freely admitted it when Charlie Sheen landed in the hospital a long time ago for an overdose.

Hi Bink and your lesbian daughter! Thanks for your reply. You're welcome! I'm so glad we have similar views! I sincerely believe men are socialized (by patriarchy) to be all kinds of things they are not, and need not be. It will be millenia before we unravel the millenia of patriarchal socialization/beliefs, but you are obviously making a great start.

Yes, it is SO politically incorrect to criticize transgender. That's a shame, b/c trans are just worshipping and promoting the patriarchal belief that sex roles are innate. They are not. (And even if they were, drugs and knives wouldn't change that! I swear, transbelievers are CLUELESS!) I totally agree it's never good to mess with nature.

I am of the view that all of us are innately bi (heck, the rest of the animal kindgom is), and that socialization and life experiences shape/limit our sexual attractions. If you're interested, the book "Queer By Choice" by Vera Whisman will blow your minds. Brilliant book. If you like my post, you'll LOVE that book. Amazon has it, totally worth it.

I would disagree. He is with his girls in the company of their mother. It isn't like he has them for the weekend. Kids need their dad. I applaud her parenting. With his past behavior, it would be fairly easy for her to punish him by keeping his kids away. But it would hurt the kids more. She seems to be working hard at helping her children maintain a relationship with their dad. That will pay off for their girls in the long run.

I agree they need their dad..but a sober dad..starting slowly with visits in the beginning until he has a yr of sobriety would be a safer move for the girls..this is too fast with going on trips together when he is a loose cannon..he has the boys that really need him right now with what a mess that baby mamma is..

charlie, an family look good together, i hope to see him back on TV soon he was a joy to watch, the new shop will go down hill soon, tried to watch it but it's not the same . so we watch the reruns an still enjoy them.

I hope they can work things out as for parenting, but I think she needs to be cautious since he does have a history of drug abuse and strange behavior.

Even if he isn't using, doesn't mean he won't or the drugs hasn't destroyed part of his brain that he won't ever recover.
