Former 'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Star Dwight Eubanks Arrested

Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Dwight Eubanks was reportedly arrested in Atlanta and charged with driving with a suspended license.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, officers spotted the outspoken reality star driving his Chevy Tahoe in the downtown area of Freedom Parkway and Boulevard on December 14 with the driver's side headlight out. Once officials stopped the salon owner they found out that his license is currently suspended, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee told the daily newspaper. Eubanks was then taken into custody and is awaiting a court date.

The self-proclaimed style purveyor, who became a main cast member on the second season of the hit Bravo television show, made his exit following season three. Prior to leaving the show Eubanks hinted at moving on to pursue other endeavors.

"The reality show is what it is. We don't have to agree. They have gone through a whole season disagreeing. And agreeing is not reality. I like to move on," he said during an 2009 interview with BV Newswire. "Reality television don't pay no money. I had this life before ['Housewives'] came on, and I have four [mortgage] notes to pay. That's a lot, and I haven't ventured off to doing any new ventures lately," he added.

I sure hope he's not going to be one of those "stars" who now thinks he's a god. He's only going to have a miserable life. He should appreciate his success and behave and be a role model as a lot of young people watch and follow him.

I love Dwight! HOw come he isnt on the show anymore just so we can see what he is doing? He is so funny and really tells it like it is but like Pheadra in that sweet Southern way where you're like "what was that?" and its cool! I used to just love to hear anthing Dwight has to say! I wish he could do a makeover on me!

Have only ever watched parts of Season 2 so I didn't know he was gone. I hope he gets that straightened out so it doesn't spiral into bigger problems down the road. As for the show, not my cup of tea.

Goin' to jail is an endeavor? Wow, I didn't know they paid you for gettin' incarcerated? But then now that I think about it...Maybe somebody'll wanna know how Brotha Dwight endured his incarceration. Crazy as it sounds? I wouldn't be surprised. Life.
