Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin Are Now Parents Of Baby Boy, Jordan Zane Weiner

Finally some good news for Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin.

Abedin gave birth to a baby boy, Jordan Zane Weiner, Wednesday night, 10 days before the News Year's Eve due date. The little guy weighed in a little over 7 pounds.

The New York Post, naturally, welcomed Jordan Zane into the world with a front page headline reading, "A Little Weiner", "Baby boy for Huma and louse."

The baby boy's arrival caps off a tumultuous year for the Queens couple. In June, just shy of their one-year wedding anniversary, Anthony Weiner resigned from Congress after lewd photos he sent to women on Twitter surfaced.

Before the scandal, Weiner, an up-and-coming Democratic Congressman representing parts of Brooklyn and Queens and known for animated speeches delivered on the House floor, was considered a top contender to succeed Michael Bloomberg as mayor of New York City.

Since his resignation from Congress, however, his political life seems to have temporarily ended, and a Republican, Bob Turner, won the special election to fill his former Seat.

Abedin was an aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to The Post, Clinton was among the guests at a Washington, D.C. baby shower last month for Abedin that included Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Democratic National Committee Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

With that pathetic effort I'm actually thawing on Weiner. Are they hoping to grind down some innocents in the hope someone will crack and they can sell a few more copies of their rag.... if they do a good enough job, the kid may grow up disfunctional and be a human headline for them but why should society be lumbered with the detritis of their feeding frenzies?

Congratulations to the Wieners’.

I miss Anthony Weiner in the House and we desperately need someone as dedicated as he was and I sincerely hope he returns to politics. He said it like it was and didn’t back down or cower but fought for what was right for his constituents and the American people.

What he did wasn’t even nearly as disruptive as Gingrich; Ensign; Vitter; on and on and on.

Come back Anthony Weiner and I’ll contribute to your campaign even though I don’t live in NY.

Congratulations to Congressman Weiner & his wife Huma! I am looking forward to seeing Mr. Weiner in public life again. He was an excellent spokesman for the average person. (No unnecessary snips about his Tweeting, please. I would really love it if he could be a voice in the congress once again. In spite of anything else, he could put the Republicans to shame. For that alone, he was invaluable.)
