'Fresh Prince Of Bel Air' Cast Reunited (PHOTO)

If you can recite the entire "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" theme song, then you'll enjoy this.

They haven't been an on-screen family for nearly 16 years, but the cast of the TV show that made Will Smith a household name, have kept in touch.

Smith posted this photo of himself with the Banks family on his Facebook page -- yes that's James Avery, Karyn Parsons, Alfonso Riberio and Tatyana Ali, perhaps better known as Uncle Phil, Hillary, Carlton and Ashley to fans.

Smith wrote, "Got the Holiday season started right with a "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" reunion...there's nothin' like spending Holidays with fam! "

According to TMZ, the photo was taken last week at a luncheon for Parson's charity Sweet Blackberry, a non-profit organization aims to share stories of African American achievement with children.

Of course it wasn't a complete reunion -- noticeably absent were Daphne Reid and Janet Hubert who both played Vivian Banks, and Joseph Marcell, who played everyone's favorite wisecracking butler, Geoffrey.

I've seen Alfonso Ribeiro a few times at my local Trader Joe's here in L.A. He's really a sweet, likable guy. Totally Carlton. Can't look at him without picturing that Tom Jones dance. (And to nit-pick, the article has his name misspelled as Riberio).

I have now learned there is some tragedy related to Tatyana Ali. I've looked at a couple of sites where the only romantic interest listed for her is one ex-boyfriend, Jonathan Brandis. For Brandis, Tatyana is listed as the first of only 2 girlfriends. You may remember Jonathan as Bastian from "The NeverEnding Story II". He was also the main character in Stephen Kings "It" and later he was a main cast member of Spielberg's "seaQuest DSV." He was a talented, attractive young man. Unfortunarely, he was also troubled. He hanged himself in 2003 at the age of 27.

I totally agree with you there; Janet Hubert just had more moxie. Unfortunately, the word is there was bad blood between her and Will Smith. I believe Vernee Watson could have been an excellent Aunt Viv, but she was already playing the role of Will's mom.

This is one of my favorite Aunt Viv scenes. Normally Aunt Vivian would put someone in their place because she had the mouth, but this time she put these girls in their place without uttering a word.

Thanks wilray, i had forgot she was a trained dancer, and with her dark complexion, those outfits she used to wear on the show just knocked me out.This woman was ultra talented.

I loved that show. It was one of the last few good shows I've watched before all that other garbage is being shown on television. Now I mostly watch is some cartoons and some news.
