Being a newlywed is a demanding job -- from combining finances, to accepting (and being accepted by) your in-laws and, potentially, changing your last name -- new spouses have a lot on their plates.

On top of all that, every newly-married couple must figure out how to spend their first holiday together -- without insulting any friends or family members -- and that can get tough when you're from opposite coasts, have divorced parents or just don't get along with your in-laws.
