NBC News Correspondent Arrested After Partying With Sandusky's Lawyer

NBC News correspondent Jay Gray was arrested after attending a party hosted by Joe Amendola, the lawyer of shamed former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Reports of Gray's arrest surfaced on Tuesday. Gray allegedly attended a party at Amendola's home to watch the December 11th Giants-Cowboys football game. Gray was apparently one of several reporters at the party attempting to get an exclusive interview with Sandusky.

Gray has been covering the Penn State scandal since the story broke in early November.

Amendola recently appeared on NBC's "Today" show. Host Ann Curry asked Amendola if he was "competent" to represent Sandusky, after he waived his client's right for a preliminary hearing.
