Pundits Call Obama 'Ghetto Crackhead' and Newt 'Car Bomber' (VIDEO)

A Fox News guest said that some people might want to describe President Obama as a "skinny, ghetto crackhead" Thursday night.

The Conservative Media Research Center's Brent Bozell appeared on Fox News and was interviewed by guest host Mark Steyn. Steyn replayed a March 2011 clip from Chris Matthews' MSNBC show, when Matthews described Newt Gingrich as looking "like a car bomber" who "loves torturing."

Steyn and Bozell both responded to the clip. Steyn said that he wasn't much of a "Newt fan," but thought the GOP candidate looked more like a "cuddly...Winnie the Pooh."

Bozell said, "How long do you think Sean Hannity’s show would last if four times in one sentence, he made a comment about, say, the President of the United States, and said that he looked like a skinny, ghetto crackhead? Which, by the way, you might want to say that Barack Obama does.” Bozell then criticized Matthews' ratings, and said only about "45 people were watching him."

This probably isn't the best example of the Fox News "course correction" that CEO Roger Ailes has described.

Disclaimer: I don't watch either with any regularity; I gave up on TV news a long time ago.

Let me explain the difference in this article to it's author between MSNBC and FOX. MSNBC's Matthews (who is a moron of the highest order) actually said those things with bias and malice. He believes what he says and the clips of his show I have seen make my skin crawl.
The ones on FOX were pointing it out said malice & bias.

Nice try to smear the "Faux News" though. Try being honest and see MSNBC for the Obama Campaign Liberal headquarters it is.

Just wish he would call the Orlando Police Department or the Sheriff department, he should have taken or even researched his sources, the Chiefs of both Departments are Black, Chief Demmings. Not saying they are not Republicans or Democracts. But that said, they are black. They arhusband and wife. Oh man did I make a mistake.?? Call me also a a black person I love the Mayor of Orlando, who (sorry) is white. You go Orlando.

Garbage in, Garbage out.....that's Fox news and 99% of what they dish out daily.....garbage. In fact, let's face it, it's the nations biggest garbage dump. Brent Bozell offers up this extremely offensive comment about our President, because he has absolutely NOTHING of value to contribute to the conversation. Bozell comes across as a pig, and I'll keep it generous by limiting my outrage to that descriptor.

Bozell generally has a good cause in pointing out bias in the press.  The same that Media Matters does from the left.  But he discredits himself with what is clearly dog-whistle style racism- in calling the President a "ghetto crackhead".

The comment on Obama makes sense, as HE has written about his extensive coke addiction. Addicts always lie, so "crackhead," at one time in his adult life, was probably a very accurate description. He also worked in the inner city, which I guess is where the "ghetto" part of the description comes from.

Bozell is one of those who got a boost from William F. Buckley ages ago and has been riding the right-wing gravy train, with all its paid trips to conferences & subsidized columns & appearances on Roger Ailes' tele-Sturmer since it became part of basic cable packages, ever since. It's all part of a very nasty in-bred stable of writers who do nothing but quote each others' books, bought en masse by right-wing thinktanks and radio shows to be given away to the faithful, while slandering everyone who lives outside the kennel.
