Taylor Swift normally isn't associated with the ritual and state sponsored murder of teenagers (just their hearts!), but this synergist opportunity was too good to pass up.
The country sweetheart revealed late Thursday night that she was contributing a previously-unannounced song to "The Hunger Games" soundtrack, tweeting, "Something I've been VERY excited about for a VERY long time is going to be happening VERY soon."
She then tweeted the song, "Safe and Sound," and it was trending soon after. Of course. Is there any combination of young women more lethal than Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Taylor Swift? Of course, Tay's song has a name that is the opposite of lethal, but don't be fooled: she's been slaying older artists on the awards and sales charts for years now.
