Celebrity Neighbor Survey Finds Tim Tebow Is America's Most Desirable Neighbor, Jersey Shore Cast Is The Least

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood for Tim Tebow.

According to The Fifth Annual Zillow Celebrity Neighbor Survey, the Denver Broncos quarterback ranked as the most desirable celebrity neighbor for 2012. Zillow found 11 percent of adults in the survey preferred Tebow to other celebrities. 14 percent of males pined for the player while only 7 percent of females shared the attraction (we're assuming they didn't ask Playboy's Heather Knox).

Runners-up in the survey were celebrity super couples Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, tied with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux at 10 percent. Families with children were more in favor of a Jolie-Pitt neighborly combo by 5 percent.

America's least desirable celebrity neighbor? The Cast of the Jersey Shore, coming in at an awesomely bad 28 percent. People notes this is the cast's second year to earn the dubious distinction. Second place in this category went to Charlie Sheen (21 percent), while Lindsay Lohan earned third (14 percent).

Despite the apparent celebrity fascination, however, more than 40 percent of Americans would prefer not to have one next door. "As a voyeuristic culture that breathlessly tracks every celebrity movement, it's extremely surprising to see so many Americans saying they wouldn't like to live next door to any celebrity at all," said Zillow Chief Marketing Officer Amy Bohutinsky in a press release.

More respondents opted not to take the survey than in any previous year.

at first read this might appear to be of some interest. but then you have to realize the stats have been twisted. ja ja tebow would be the bestest neighbor in all the land - if you ask 50 religious zealots and then offer up say - michael vick as the alternative. ridiculous all the way around. please. tebow makes a mediocre qb and probably the same as a neighbor.

I actually really don't like Tebow-- not that I know him. BUT/AND his ostentatious display of his Faith seems designed for the public-- to get him attention and thus to promote him and not "the Lord."

I pray constantly in my life and I do it whereever I stand, within myself, in whatever body posture I find myself in, in private and in public whithout making a HUGE spectacle of myself-- and I get lots of affirmation that Spirit is listening and responding.

I think Tebow has made his Faith and praying an EGO position/gesture that has nothing to do with presenting one's requests to the Higher Power with a humble Heart.

Just my opinion.

What does "an issue" mean? Did he parade it around as part of what made him a unique public figure-- or was that simply who he was and we could take it or leave it? Did he make it a big ceremony to enhance drama before the ring-- or was it simply who he was and he did not make a public spectacle or part of the BIG SHOW of it?

I agree with you in part, and disagree in part. My question is, how can you be that devout if you're playing football on Sundays? lololol Or did God give him a pass?

I'm not a fan due to the fact that he's never said "yeah, I'm not that great as a QB" to his fans, admitting that he's average. I do not approve of his public displays and believe the Bible even references private prayer. I do, however, like the energy and team-man-ship he brought. The team refused to support Orton and now Orton is showing he's better than that with a team who backs him up.

But they're fun to toy with. When I moved into my neighborhood, the neighbors invited me over for a barbecue with a few friends. Turned out to be their after-church dinner, and good-neighbor me didn't show up empty-handed, I brought a case of beer. As soon as I figured out what was really going on, I cracked open a brew and let everyone know I was a gay activist.
