Michele Bachmann Vows To 'Dismantle' Obama's 'System Of Socialism'

GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann promoted herself on Tuesday as the contender best suited to lead a crusade against President Barack Obama's so-called "socialism."

"Of all of the candidates that are running in this race, I am the one that's going to go in and dismantle the system of socialism," Bachmann told supporters at an Iowa cafe, according to the Des Moines Register. "That's what we've got to have."

Bachmann frequently rails against the issue of socialism, which she commonly invokes as a system she believes Obama espouses through his support for the health care reform law, entitlement programs and legislation to bolster financial regulations.

"We are at a time in our country when we are full-on embracing socialism," the Minnesota congresswoman continued. "Now I know it's hard to imagine, but there are even Republicans that want to be socialists in Washington D.C."

Bachmann said she'd continue her fight against their ideology as well.

She launched a similar attack on her fellow Republicans last month, blasting what she called "frugal socialists" in the GOP.

"The reason President Obama and some Republicans can get behind socialized medicine is because they share the same core political philosophy about the purpose of government," she said, before appearing to suggest that her primary opponents were among the ranks of socialists. "We cannot preserve liberty if the choice is between a frugal socialist and an out-of-control socialist."

Another alleged socialist subscriber on Bachmann's list is former President George W. Bush, who she accused of embracing "bailout socialism" in her latest memoir.

She's right about one thing. Obama is doing a whole lot of things by decree, using his unaccountable czars. That can all be dismantled within 24 hours of his removal from office.

And, for all of you holdouts who continue to say Bachmann is dumb, consider the brilliance of Hank Johnson (D-Georgia). He expressed his concern that a contingent of Marines that were slated to be sent to Guam would put the island at risk of tipping over. You cannot penetrate that degree of stupidity. Bachmann has never made any comment even approaching that level of ignorance.

Everyone needs to be more like her. Getting money from the government for whatever she can. She has suckled at the government her (and her husband's) entire adult life. Michele has made her income almost entirely off of government subsidies. Yet she jabbers on and on meaninglessly.

I want a law passed that before a canidate can use the word socialist or socialism that they look up the word in the dictionary and then define it to the voters.

Remember when Bush used that word - crusade? Didn't work for him so well and it sure as he11 won't work for her. She speaks to her base (pun intended) and she doesn't understand that she scare the bejebus out of moderates republicans. With the exception of Romney and Huntsman, none of them get that. Romney? Unless enough moderate republicans come out, he will be toast (and should be). And where is Huntsman? He's hasn't been the flavor of the week, so we'll see in Iowa what his deal is. None of them can beat Obama.

Their view of socialism is any government program that helps the working class,S.S.I,medicare,medicaid,student loans,housing,etc But you hear closed lips when their boys on wall street,fanny Mae,oil subsidies, banks are being bailed out it's o'k and the reason for that the programs that help out people in the middle class don't have a big money lobbyist behind them filling up their pockets.Now say if social security had that kind of force behind them such as Fanny Mae&Freddy Mac or Wall Street i'm sure one of these candidates would of been a historian for that and try everything in their power to protect it.Here is an example the president bailed out the Auto Industry which save a lot of jobs and they paid that money back plus some for it.And all you heard from them that you should of let it go under.Where was that voice when your fund raiser lobbyist boys on wall street and the banks and the home lenders ask for that.You were voting for socialism government bailout program.Because they pay you good money to lobby for them and not the middle class.Now let someone stand up to that power on Wall Street etc,And tell them they have to pay back the money like the auto industry did and you become non American.It just proves you have one party out their if you got the money to fill their pockets they can be bought.
