I know everyone loves a comfy sweater! Not me. Sweaters for me in winter are what bathing suits are for many in summer -- it's a challenge to find the right fit. As a petite woman with an ample bust, chunky sweaters are just not a good look for me. This was a particularly depressing realization when I worked for Ralph Lauren, albeit quite the score for my sister who inherited countless cashmere cable knits.

The key for me is to choose lighter weight fabrications and to layer them with wovens. I must also open the neckline with a deep-V with over-sized or cardigan-styles. Enter: my brand new GRP hooded cardigan complete with wooden buttons, deep fleece lined pockets, the perfect seasonal print and exquisite artisanal stitching. Although the heavy merino wool does add bulk, the look is flattering as the cardigan allows for multiple dimensions and cuts off perfectly at the hips. All in all this is the ideal sweater for me.

My brand new sweater is one of a slowing-growing women's collection that GRP is currently debuting -- a brand already well known amongst our Stylelist male counterparts.

(GRP cardigan styled with an Elizabeth & James striped oxford, Adrienne Landau fur vest, Ksubi skinny jeans, vintage Madewell belt, Dollhouse booties and Alexander Wang bag.)
