Jane Fonda Slips Into Signature Leotard (VIDEO)

Jane Fonda is back in her signature leotard and looking better than ever. The 74-year-old actress and fitness guru slipped back into the orignal spandex that made her a household name on the "Today" show with Kathie Lee and Hoda for a peek at her new exercise video for seniors, "Jane Fonda Prime Time."

Fonda first wore the black and red striped leotard on the cover of her 1981 fitness book Jane Fonda's Workout Book. And although she may still fit in the same leotard she wore 31 years ago, Fonda does admit that her new workouts are tailored to her more mature body.

"You want to get in and out of chairs without help, in and out of cars without help," Fonda explained of her new workout regimen that has her looking like she's been drinking from the fountain of youth.

Hoda even noticed that the leotard looked "kind of big" on Fonda's fit frame. Looking good, Ms. Fonda!

Now if you are going to be a celebrity icon in Hollywood and survive, then Jane Fonda's play book is where some of these up and coming folks should be tearing a page or two from. Work Jane!

I saw an interview with her not long ago and I had no idea how old she was until she mentioned it. Blew me away! I have never seen a woman of 74 look this great and I can't imagine looking anywhere close to that even at 64, if I live that long.

Why do so many people feel so eager to bash Jane Fonda? She is a strong woman who is not afraid to speak her mind -- or put on an age-old leotard.

I'm sure you're either too young or too liberal to have "been there and done that" with Jane. She has plenty of friends, but she also has plenty of enemies. There at times when one best keeps their big mouths shut and their opinions to themselves. And apologize when it's the right thing to do. Nobody says she has to say she was wrong. She just has to apologize to those damaged or offended by the things she's done. She's so bloody arrogant she just doesn't think she owes anyone an apology. Therefore, after all these years, she still gets to reap what she sowed.

Sorry. I've NEVER heard it. What you heard was NOT an apology. What you heard from Joan Baez was an apology. Jane has never met the minimum standard. Once she does, we, the offended parties, will move on.
