Michele Bachmann: AR-15 'Is A Great Gun'
Note to all wild animals or potentially-violent criminals: Michele Bachmann knows how to shoot a gun. Really, really well.
Speaking at an Iowa radio station, Bachmann got downright starry-eyed talking about her love for assault rifles.
"My favorite is an AR-15,” Bachmann told WHO-AM host Jan Michelson. “I love it, it's a great gun."
She also bragged about her shooting abilities.
“Hey, I’m a pretty good shot,” she said. “I went through gun safety when I was 12...I scored the best in my class of any of the men, too."
This isn't the first time she's gushed about her favorite gun. In a February 2010 interview, she told MSP Magazine that the AR-15 is "a big gun" and "so accurate." Last year, her campaign also boasted that she "has a great shot."
