On the "Beavis and Butt-Head" (Thu., 10 p.m. EST on MTV) season finale, the duo bade farewell to their triumphant return to the airwaves on Dec. 29.
But there were no poignant moments of self-reflection from the idiots who shaped a generation in the '90s, only to return nearly 15 years later to do it again; instead, one short saw them attempting to "score" by hooking up with the "whores" and "fornicators" in an abortion clinic, while the other saw them getting trapped in an elevator with a beautiful woman and -- well -- trying to "score."
But it was Butt-Head's astute observation about singer Jake Walden that was perhaps the most surprising revelation of the night.
He started by comparing Walden's underbite to Beavis's, and then realized that they share a raspy voice as well -- though Butt-Head was certain Walden was faking his. In the end, he concluded that Walden was just creepy, but did share a startling resemblance to Beavis.
