What was the weather like in your area this week? In some parts of the world, the weather was quite disastrous.

Over a dozen people were killed this week by a cyclone that struck India's southeastern coast.

A freight train carrying toxic material was derailed in Australia this week, and flooding from Cyclone Grant swept away a bridge which caused the derailment.

A Canadian skier was killed by an avalanche this week in British Columbia. A warm spell has left snow wet, heavy and avalanche-prone.
