Mitt Romney Says He Won't Cry When Discussing Parents

Romney Crying

Merrimack Patch:

The man was referring to an event in Iowa earlier Friday morning where Newt Gingrich began to tear up when speaking about his deceased mother.

Romney did his best to deflect the tasteless joke by saying he does cry for them, but not right then.

"I won't cry, but I have nothing to be ashamed of in that regard," he said.

"...I won't cry..."

Because the mutual lack of caring make it just so unnecessary, silly, would you like a martini?

Romney thinks he is funny making is high school comments about the other candidates. The public will soon tire of his high school antics.

People were tired of his antics long before the last time he tried to run, and failed.

That's how smart he is.

The only time Mitt cries is when his favorite pajamas have been mistakenly starched by his servants.

The dude take far too many vacations, I agree.

Until the elections are over, he needs to be chained to his desk, 24/7/365, lights on and cameras running.

Good morning sunshine! Here are the overnights, and your coffee, Say hello to the folks at home, and stop scratching that... o.o

What he should have said is that he wouldn't use his mother to further his health care policy as the Newtster did.

Well both Mitt and his son put their feet in their mouths this week. Both privileged bullies.

Mitt can't cry. It's not in the script! He also doesn't have a heart.....it was a bit too easy for him to fire all the middle class workers he did for the 1% investors.

Mittens has parents? I assumed that, as a spoiled little rich boy, his only contact was with his nanny and the servants.

I can't stand Gingrich but I believe he had a really rotten childhood that effected him and made him the miserable SOB that he is now. It was wrong and nasty of Romney to poke at that vulnerability.

Rather than saying he wouldn't cry when he was discussing his mother, he more aptly should have noted that he would not cry when discussing long term health care. All candidates should be able to discuss any and all matters of policy without weeping, and I don't mind any of them "poke[d]" at if they cannot.

Romney is really tone deaf....that Marie Antoinette remark about Obama reinforces the opinion that it is Mitt who is the elitist. If the Democrats were as without principles and as nasty as the Republicans, they would be going after the Mormons....karlrove would already have the crapola in the hopper (look at the effort that has been put into painting Obama as an outsider who doesn't belong in high office....what is "take our country back," all about, if not about racism)? , But that isn't going to happen with Democrats who have some limit on how low and dirty they will get. . It will be Republicans who refuse to vote for him because of his religion.
