The Occupy movement continues to fuel protests across the country, but there are "Be The Change" lessons we can all apply to our own personal lives to be learned from the political dissent.

Peggy Fitzsimmons transformed these lessons into poetry in a piece called "Occupy":

Occupy your (higher) Self. 100 %.

Occupy your heart.
Occupy the place where everything is connected.
Occupy your own rhythm.
Occupy compassion.
Occupy your creativity.

Adam Jung: Christmas at Occupy London

It's cold and it's wet out. That London drizzle, a phenomenon that lies somewhere between fog and sleet which London will suffer from nearly everyday until May has begun to come down. I'm in a queue of around 2,000 that has wrapped around St. Paul's for midnight mass, snaking through Occupy London's first tent city. I'm not a Christian, I left the church 15 years ago, but I've been feeling homesick lately, and find myself here, cold, and wet, and sick.

Thank you for the Video.
Do you sometimes wonder why the US invades other countries to bring in "Democracy and Free Speech and yet, we here in this country apparently are deprived of the same thing?
When the Tea Party showed up at political meetings with guns and chased Democrats around the courtyards, when they invaded the Capital and spit on the Dem Congress; both men and women, and especially blacks, the Police treated them with respect and stood by laughing. Some of the Police were seen assisting Tea Party members up and down the stairs. When the picture appeared recently of the Military stomping on a woman in Syria, TV and all media in the US carried the picture The Video was watched a million times. And yet, when the Police in this country stomp on a person practically everyday in an Occupy protest movement and break their ribs.. hardly anyone takes notice. Does anyone besides me think there is something badly screwed up in this country?
